We took the girls to get "sister" photos taken together and to have Finley's newborn photos taken as well. Our First Week As a Family of 5

We've had a great week since welcoming Finley Anne into our family. I couldn't be more happy with Bridget and Avery's response to their new baby sister. They are always excited to see her and always fighting to hold her. They are definitely "in love"!!

Finley has been such a great baby. She seems to be pretty mellow and sleeps great at night---much appreciated! We are so thrilled to have our new little girl in our lives!

Multnomah Falls

We took a day that Patrick had off from work to go hike up to the top of Multnomah Falls. We were super proud of Bridget for making it. Our little 5 year old really did a great job!

Hot Summer Day

I took the kids to downtown Portland today to try and beat the 95 degree heat with a swim in the water fountains. It looked like lots of other people had the same idea! The fountain was perfect for the kids to play in, the water felt great and the day could not have been more fun. We were there for nearly 5 hours!!

It seemed like every time I turned around Bridget had a new water toy. (These are toys that other kids had brought.) She was pretty good at schmoozing the other kids into letting her play with their toys.

4th of July

We had a great (and hot!) 4th of July this year. In the morning we went to a little parade in Ridgefield. Later we were able to go to a fun BBQ followed by an absolutely amazing fireworks show. (Thanks Meagan and Cory!!)
